Life to the Full
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10
God created us and he knows us better than we know ourselves, therefore he knows how to give us the best fulling life on this earth, A fulfilling life is given to us in his Word, if we seek to obey all the commands through his power, and with hearts filled with his divine love. God changes us to become the person he created, then we will experience the best life possible in this sinful world.
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (Romans 8:29) Everyone that accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior, God will mold to the image of his Son. The ultimate fulfilling life is having the mind and heart that is becoming more like Jesus. With the heart of Jesus, our life is about serving Christ through the Spirit pointing people to eternal life. If we are like Jesus then our hearts are filled with God’s divine love, which motivates us to reflect Jesus to everyone.
We are created in the image of God and we are to live in the image of God, with the mind and heart of Jesus. Christ is always with us guiding us through life to reflect God’ love, compassion, and caring heart to the world. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:37-38) We are the few workers and we pray for the Lord to lead us to the harvest. This shows that we are motivated by love, and our hearts care for lost souls deceived by Satan. We are warriors for Christ, fighting Satan’s lies and deceptions with the power of God’s Truth.
Our hearts are motivating us to walk with Christ ministering to the harvest, and there is no better life on the planet, because this is the life God designed us to live. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) This verse describes the fulfilling life; our life is Christ and we are free from self. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33) If we have the faith to put Christ and others first in our life, knowing God will make it possible for our worldly needs, then we will experience life to the full that only comes from God.
Today live for Christ praying he will lead to the harvest. Reflect Jesus to everyone today as Christ guides you to a fulfilling day.
Prayer: Lord guide me to the harvest that I may tell someone about the good news of Christ. Continue to fill my heart with your unconditional love, and draw me closer to you. Thank you for giving me the most fulfilling life. In Jesus name, Amen
