Let Christ be Your Life

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

John 6:35

Christ provides all we need, and his spiritual gifts continuously fill our soul with love, peace, and joy. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) When we live for Christ, we have life to the full, and Heaven is our home.

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:3) The best life comes when we trust the Lord’s will over our will, after all he is God, and who are compared to God. Christ knows us better than we know self, and he can guide is through life far better than we can. Christ is perfect and he guides through life to overcome the world.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36) There is no freedom on the earth greater than the freedom we receive from Christ. We are free when the sinful world has no control over us, and when our sinful will is under control, and we experience victory over Satan. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20) We have the power of God to overcome Satan’s evil, because all things are possible for God.

When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:4) The best and most fulfilling life is letting Christ be our life, because we will be living the way God created us to live. When we let Christ be our life, letting him guide us through life and giving Him priority in our life, then we will appear with Him in glory. Christ loves us more than we can image, and he is God where all things are possible, and it is a blessing that he is willing to guide us through life and into Heaven.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) Paul did his best to let Christ to take divine control of his life, and Paul was content in all circumstances, and he said everything he lost was garbage compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ.

Today surrender your life to Christ and let him guide through the Spirit and through the Word. Because that is how God created us to live, and don’t let Satan led you astray.

Prayer:  Lord, help me to follow Christ and keep Satan away from me.  In Jesus Amen.
