Let Christ be Our Lord

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:10-11

It is a blessing that Christ is our Lord, and he is always with us guiding us through life. Chris is within us and communicates with us through the Holy Spirit. When our faith depends on Christ, and whenever Satan attacks us, we call on Christ and Satan will flee.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20) Christ divine power works through us to be a light for Christ and to overcome Satan’s attacks. We have nothing to fear because Christ is always with us, and he will give us whatever we need to get through life and into Heaven. We have faith that fully depends on Christ for everything we think, say, and do.

Christ guides us through life, and he also sets us free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) Only Christ can give us true freedom, and we are free from fear, the sinful world, and Heaven in our home. There is no freedom on earth that compares to the freedom that Christ gives us.

Christ is our Lord, and he gives everything we need to overcome the world and continue down the narrow road to Heaven. For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) Only through Christ can we overcome the world, and we live in the Kingdom that is within us. Christ gives us his power, gives us freedom, and enables us to overcome the world. And he is always with us and we always depend on Him for everything.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. (John 10:27-29) We follow Christ’s divine guidance, and no one will snatch us out of God’s righteous right hand.

The more we know the Word, the easier it is to follow Christ’s guidance, because the Word is the language of God. We study the Word because it is the language of God, and we study to our last breath because the Word is live; because Christ places thoughts in our minds as we read the Word.
Prayer: Father, help me to always follow Christ and always depend on Christ. Thank you for the blessing of Christ and for guiding me through life.

Prayer: Father, help me to always be closer to Christ, and help my life to always be centered on Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
