Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Matthew 19:26
We need to remember all things are possible for God, especially when we pray. We never limit our prayers to our own capabilities, but our prayers go to God’s who has no limitation. We have faith that God can all things through us, especially when we bring people to Christ, and we always pray for things that will bring glory to God.
Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. (Jeremiah 32:17) When we look at nature, we can see what God created, everything of beauty can be seen if we slow and look and think about His creation. We should always remember the infinite power and love that comes from God and Christ, and seek his power as we are a light for Christ. We always desire that Christ guides our thoughts, words, and actions.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) It’s important we remember that God is love, and as we serve Christ, God fills our hearts with his love. And with hearts of love, we know God because we have the same heart and emotions. We love everyone on the planet, we hate Satan’s deceptions, and we hurt for lost souls; especially for people who are close to us.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) God knows our thoughts and understands everything about us, and he understands us better than we understand ourselves. The Lord knows exactly what we need to be more like Christ, and he disciplines so we change to become the person he created us to be.
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) God is perfectly patience and waiting that everyone on the earth, has the chance to know his divine Truth. God wants everyone to know the Truth and make a choice for their eternal life. Bibles are being sent all over the world, because that is where God’s truth is found.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) The Lord forgives our sins when we ask for forgiveness with a repentant heart, and our sins are forgotten. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. (Matthew 6:14) Christians have a forgiving heart just as Jesus had a forgiving heart. Christ forgave the Roman soldiers who crucified him.
Today know all of God’s attributes and realize He is sovereign over all creation. Knowing God’s power and his perfect love will take away our fear.
Prayer: Father, help me to put all my faith in Christ and to serve him with all my heart. In Jesus name, Amen
