Justified by Faith
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:1
When our faith is pleasing to God, we will experience divine peace. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) If our faith is not pleasing to God, we will never experience divine peace.
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13) The more love we have for God, means we know God more, and our faith increases. If we really know God, through the Word, through meditation, and prayer, the more faith we have. It’s the same in life, the more we know someone to be truthful, the more we will trust them. God is our perfect Father who loves us more than words can describe, and we can fully trust him, because we serve Christ and we are in his family.
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. (Ephesians 6:16) It’s through faith that we call Christ’s power to overcome sinful desires. The more faith we have, the more power we have to overcome Satan’s attacks. And ever Christian needs the Lord’s power to overcome sinful thoughts.
Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:3) The more faith we have in God, the more we can preserve through the difficulties in life. Our faith must not have doubt, but he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:6) If we have doubt ask the Lord to take it away, and ask for total faith in God.
Today live by faith, and put your life in the hands of Christ, no matter you face in this world. And believe in your heart every Word of God, because belief in first step in having faith. Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) It’s a heart a filled with God’s love that enables us to know God, because God is love.
Prayer: Father always help me to have more faith so I will fully trust you in all things. In Jesus name, Amen
