Judgment for Eternal Life

Posted on

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

Revelations 13:19

Jesus returns for judgment, which is based on the Word of God. Satan has planted plenty of lies into the minds of people who don’t know the Word. He plants these lies to make people comfortable, because he knows they are lost souls. Know that eternal life is only through Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus returns for judgment which is based on the Word of God. Satan has planted plenty of lies into the minds of people who don’t know the Word. He plants these lies to make people comfortable, because he knows they are lost souls. Know has eternal life except through Christ and the Holy Spirit.

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. (Romans 8:9) We must have the indwelling Holy Spirit, because the Spirit connects us to Christ. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13) We communicate with Christ through the Holy Spirit. He guides our thoughts and the desires of our hearts.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22) It’s important that we do our best to obey all the commands in the Bible, and we do this through prayer seeking God’s power and guidance from Christ. There are Christians that don’t fully study scripture to find how they are judged for eternal life, because they are comfortable in their Christianity.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (Romans 8:29) All those who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, are predestined to conform to the image of Christ. What characteristic of Christ is most important to conform the image of his Son?  What motivated Jesus during his time on earth?  If we are predestined to conform to the image of Christ, we need a heart of unconditional, sacrificial love that only comes from God.

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”  (Mark 22:37-39) As God fills our hearts with his divine love, we begin to identify with the emotions of Jesus, which draws us closer to Him, and closer to eternal life. And with a heart of love, we seek to obey every command in the Bible with the Lord’s power.

When life is about God and others, then we know Heaven is our home. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) When we die to our will and replace it with the Lord’s will, then heaven is sure to be our home.

Today obey the Word because it makes the Word is more meaningful, and our relationship with Christ gets stronger.

Prayer: Guide me in the Word to always seek to do your divine will. In Jesus name, Amen
