How God Sees Us
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9
The Lord’s love for us, how much He wants to bless us, and guide us through life into Heaven to be with Him; is difficult to put in words. The importance we are to the Lord is more than we can ever image, but we will know when we are in the presence of the Father and Son in Heaven. If we could realize the infinite perfect love the Lord has for us, our faith would be perfect.
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1) For everyone who accepts Christ as their Savior, become children of God; and we are in His divine family with God as our perfect father. We are filled with the Holy Spirit and Christ makes His home in our hearts, and He is willing to guide us through life with His love and power.
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) Those in His family will never to be tempted by Satan beyond our ability to escape. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) The Lord loves and cares for us, He protects us from the evil one, and keeps us from being tempted beyond what we can bear. He fills us with the Spirit and guides us through life with power over Satan. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) The Spirit fills our soul with the fruit listed above. Love is the main fruit, and the remaining fruit is how we show love. This fruit continually feeds our souls and they become more powerful as we serve the Lord.
The Lord protects us on our journey through life by giving us His power that is greater than we can imagine. He fills our hearts with His love, peace, and joy; and He guides us through life into our Heavenly home. We have forgiveness and the power to overcome, and Christ presents us to the Father as perfect. The Father and Son give us all we need to go through life into Heaven.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 8:6) The greatest blessing we could ever receive was when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, redeeming us to the Father.
Today know the Lords perfect love for you and the blessings to guide you through life and into Heaven. The Lord makes his home in our hearts and guides us through life by changing the desires of our spiritual hearts. Remember the power you have over Satan, and power of the Lord to overcome the world.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for your perfect love and the many blessings to get me through this life with love, peace, and joy. Thankfulness is always in my heart for sacrificing your life on the cross for my sins. Help me to surrender to your good pleasing and perfect will as I live as your servant. In Jesus name, Amen
