Hearts of Love
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34
God’s is love, and his love endures forever, and no one loves us as much as God. We are created in the image of God, which means our minds and hearts reflect the mind and heart of God. We are to conform to the image of his Son, and how can we do this without hearts of Love?
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. (John 4:12) We bring God’s love to everyone with a caring heart, and God lives in us and he fills our hearts with his love. We live out of our hearts and a heart of love will naturally reflect Jesus. Love is the foundation of the Christian’s life, because a heart of love makes every command natural and desirable.
A heart filled with God’s love changes us to be like Jesus, and opens our hearts to bring Christ to everyone. We love every one on the planet, and we are sad because many people don’t know Christ because they are deceived by Satan. You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14) We are light of the world and we bring God’s truth to people who believe Stan’s lies, and we learn the scripture for each lie from Satan.
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. (John 14:21) We show our love to the Father and the Son, by obeying his commands, and Christ will be with us as we are a light of the world. The Lord has a plan for every Christian on how he or she can bring Christ to people, and it starts with a caring and loving heart.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) As we bring the light of Christ to the world, God fills our heart with his divine love, and life becomes about others and serving Christ. We are free from worrying about on self, because we are free in Christ. When we are free of self, we depend on Christ’s divine help in taking care of self and family.
Today seek to follow Christ by being a light showing kindness and caring heart. Treat everyone with respect.
Prayer: Lord guide me in the Spirit and keep filling my heart with your divine love. In Jesus name, Amen
