Have an Attitude of Victory
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8:37
One of the most important elements in determining success is our attitude. Through faith in the Lord’s perfect love and infinite power, we can conquer anything in our life knowing Heaven is our home. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) Since the Lord is always with us giving us victory, what kind of attitude should we have?
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, (1 John 4:18) As God’s love fills our hearts, fear from Satan begins to disappear. Our trust and confidence in the Lord increases giving us an attitude of victory. An attitude of victory in our hearts reveals to the Lord that we trust him.
An attitude of victory shows the world how faith changes us, because an attitude of victory reveals a confident person that doesn’t worry and is always encouraging. The state of our attitude greatly affects our relationships, and we are to reflect the attitude of Jesus. Jesus reflected an attitude of victory as he completed the task the Father set for him.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17:22) An attitude of victory in Christ brings joy into our life, because we know victory is always possible through Christ, so we are celebrating victory before the trial even starts. We are also healthier with a positive attitude of victory and our mental capabilities are more efficient. A negative, fearful attitude is toxic to both our mind and body because we are created to have a mind filled with love and hope.
Today, walk in victory of Jesus and build confidence in the Lord as he leads you to overcome the world. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.(1 John 5:4) Today, have the faith to overcome the world.
Prayer: Lord, give me an attitude of victory that drives my faith to overcome all temptations. If I walk with you Lord, victory is certain because you never fail. I can do all things through your strength and guidance. In Jesus name, Amen
