God’s Truth verses Satan’s Lies
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
Many people are on the broad which leads to hell; because they never find God’s truth, and they find it easier to believe Satan’s lies. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. (Revelation 12:9) God’s truth is found in the His Word, the Bible, but many people are so busy in this world, and they are overwhelmed by the size of the Bible.
Satan is always seeking to keep people away from the Bible and have them believe his lies. Satan goal is to pull people away from God thinking he can hurt God. Satan has demons in some churches causing them to deviate from the Word of God. If Christians were as aggressive in bringing people to Christ, as Satan is in pulling people away from Christ, many more people would know God’s truth.
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31) We are never free in this life until we are free in Christ, otherwise we are a slave to the world. A Christian has a heart of love, joy, and peace that continually comes from the Lord, while worldly people suffer the consequences of not knowing Christ. And they will also suffer eternal consequences if they never find the truth. Christians live knowing their home is Heaven, while those on the broad hope Heaven is their home based on Satan’s lies, while others refuse to believe there is a God.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14) We bring Christ to lost souls by first knowing what they believe. Then we combat their false beliefs with the truth from scripture, because the power is in God’s Word. In many parts of the world, Satan has deceived the people to be against Christians, therefore we show kindness, and we pray for the people who do not know the Truth.
As the world becomes increasingly evil, we become more loving, because Satan hates love. We fight evil with love and truth just a Jesus did. We always ask Christ to be with us, and guide our thoughts, words, and emotions, as we are a light for Christ. We never argue when people refuse to listen or believe, we simply walk away because we are probably wasting our time.
Today live in God’s Truth and have scriptures to combat Satan’s lies. Always give a copy of the scripture to the person who is indoctrinated in Satan’s lies. And if possible, give them a Bible, that is easy to read.
Prayer: Lord guide me to bring your divine truth to overcome the lies from Satan that people believe. In Jesus name, Amen
