God’s Truth verses Partial Truth

Posted on

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

2 Timothy 4:3

Satan’s goal is have us deviate from God’s Truth as given in his Word, by modifying his Truth, ignoring his Truth, or justifying our Truth.  Satan will use other people to support our deviation from the Truth.

There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. (John 12:48)  We are judged by the truth of God’s Word and not by the truth of our words.  At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. (Matthew 24:10-11) Satan is infiltrating the Churches in an effort to spread false prophesies, starting with small footholds which in themselves can be detrimental to our Christian ministry.

If we are living partially by our truth and partially by Godly Truth, then we will use the partial God’s Truth to help us justify living our partial truth.  Satan will encourage us to live only partially in God’s truth because it influences others, especially if we are highly respected by other Christians we could be showing false teaching.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)  All scripture is for teaching and for correction.  We teach God’s Truth and we correct false teachers.  In these last days we must know the Truth, because if we are not knowledgeable of the Word we can be easily deceived to satisfy our own desires. Satan always deceives us with false doctrine that is easy to live and is easy to justify.

If we don’t live by the Truth we cannot live life to the full, we cannot minister to the world as Christ desires, and we could easily jeopardize our eternal life. We cannot experience a close relationship to the Lord if we live in partial Truth. Live totally by God’s Truth and live with his love, peace, and joy; and experience a close loving relationship with our Lord.

Today live by God’s Truth as given in his Word and don’t be deceived by Satan’s lies, because his lies will appeal pleasing to us. Only God’s truth will give us true love, peace, and joy that the Lord desires for us.

Prayer:  Lord guide me in the Spirit to live by your Truth, and do not let me be deceived by Satan’s lies. Guide me in the Spirit to bring your Truth to the world, overcoming the lies they are currently believing. In Jesus name, Amen
