God’s Truth Sets Us Free
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
Only God can give us true freedom, with confidence that Heaven is our eternal home. Satan has the world thinking if they are a Christian, they will be a slave, and he is turning the world against Christians with his lies and deceptions, and people believe his lies because they appeal to their fleshly desires.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (Joh 10:10) Satan desire is to destroy our eternal life with his lies and deceptions, and people who don’ the Truth from their Word, will by default believe whatever Satan lies.
And at that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:30) The world that spent their life believing Satan’s lies, and when Christ returns, they will mourn because they will see the truth, but it will be too late. As Christians we tell people the truth of God to combat Satan’s lies, and that Christ sets us free and gives life to the full.
We can never be filled with peace and joy unless we know Heaven is our home, It’s never too late to accept the Truth because God knows our every thought and he knows our heart, which means we can never deceive God.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Christians never die, only the body dies, the spirit leave the body and we are alive. Our destination is Heaven with a new younger body that never ages and has no pain.
A true Christian has the desire to be with Father and the Son, with no fear of death, because Heaven is home. And Heaven is our home because we live by the Word, have the indwelling Holy Spirit, and live with the power of Christ. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3)
Today live by the God’s Truth, and be free and have life to the full, which are promises to God’s people. Live by the Truth and know Heaven is your home.
Prayer: Father, help me to always live by Your Truth from the Word, and to be guided by Christ into Heaven.
