God’s Divine Plan

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

God has a plan for everyone to give us hope and future in this troubled world. His plan fills our soul with blessings from Heaven that are stronger than things of the world.  “The most critical aspect of God’s plan is our part in it; reaping his blessings by living according to his plan.”1

“We cannot live God’s plan unless we accept Christ as our Savior and receive the Holy Spirit.”2 The Holy Spirit lives in the believer and connects us to the Father and the Son. Christ guides us through life speaking into our thoughts and changing the desires of our hearts. The language of God is the Word, and the more we know the Word and the more still we are on the inside, the more we will notice the thoughts from God.

Once we receive the Holy Spirit we are in the family of God. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) The Lord will protect us from the evil one and keep us on the narrow road to Heaven. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13) For those in God’s family will not be tempted beyond what they can bear, but he will provide an escape. Living in the Family of God is the first step in living God’s divine plan.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3) If we obey the Lord’s commands, being a Light in this world, God will change us by filling our hearts with his unconditional love. This process continues throughout our life and we are constantly getting closer to Christ. We are living in God’s divine plan and our soul is continually receiving blessings from Heaven.

Most people in the world think they can be content by satisfying their flesh, but the truth is only God can satisfy our soul. Life is our soul, it’s our thoughts, personality, will, and emotions; and our soul is continuously receiving blessings from God through the Spirit; and we are content.  I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.  I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:12-13)

The Lord will guide us in his divine plan, and his love and power will draw us closer to him, making us more secure and content in our soul, and we know Heaven is our home. God gives us his power to overcome the world. Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) “God rescues us from this troubled world and guides us through life into eternity with him.” 3

Today and everyday obey the Lord and seek his guidance by the Spirit. Then you will experience God’s Divine Plan, more and more as you obey his Word.

Prayer: Lord guide me to live in accordance to your Divine Plan. In Jesus name, Amen
