God’s Divine Plan for Our Lives
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
God created us in His image, and He loves us more than we can imagine. His desire is to fill us with the Holy Spirit so Christ can guide us through life into our heavenly home. The Lord wants us to know him intimately, so we trust His loving guidance. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) The Lord fills us with the Holy Spirit, and He will fill our hearts with love, peace, and joy that does not depend on the world, but comes to our soul from Heaven.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) The Lord’s plan is to give us life to the full by having our soul living in the Kingdom that is within us. Nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ “For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21 NKJV) The Lord lives in our spiritual heart and if we keep our thoughts on thing above our soul will remain in the Kingdom with Christ.
If you love me, keep my commands. (John 14:15) His plan is to give us a divine, fulfilling life that we can have by following the Spirit in bringing Christ to others. God’s love changes our hearts toward God and others which frees us from self while the Lord and his power will provide all our needs. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33) If we put the Lord first in our life, He guides us to take care of our worldly needs.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) We remain close to the Lord by directing our thoughts to Him, and He gives us His power to be free from the world. Always remember your thoughts, personality, emotions, and will come from your spiritual, eternal soul. The world cannot touch our spiritual soul. The world can only touch our fleshly tent.
God’s plan is for us to be free, and we cannot have life to the full if Satan puts fear into our thoughts. The Lord tells us 365 times in His Word, not to fear. God’s love in our hearts kills Satan’s fear because God’s love and Satan’s fear cannot co-exist in our hearts.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. (John 10:28-30 ESV) The Lord loves us and He wants us to be in Heaven with Him and the Father. He will protect our souls with his loving power, and He will give us His strength to endure any evil Satan puts in our path. Our faith tells us we are guaranteed of our Heavenly home. God’s plan is fulfilled when Christ carries us into Heaven.
Today, know God’s plan will give the best life and Heaven is your home. Give the Lord priority and seek to obey all His commands calling for His power. All His commands are important to living the best possible life on this planet.
Prayer: Lord, guide me in the Spirit to be a Light to this world. Help me to live in the Kingdom overcoming the world and to bring love, peace, and joy to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
