God’s Divine Blessings

Posted on

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

The Lord blesses those in his family and these blessings increase in our life as we continue to have a closer relationship with our Savior. He fills us with his spirit, the Holy Spirit, and feeds Heaven to us through the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)  The Spirit brings the fruit listed in the verse above, and the Spirit feeds this fruit into our soul continuously, as we keep our thoughts on things above. We are being molded to conform to the image of his Son, and like Jesus was connected to the Father, we are connected to Christ.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.  (1 John 4:7) We are servants of God and as we bring God’s love to others, we receive more love in our hearts.  With God’s love filling our hearts, it takes the focus off of self and puts it on God and others. This is a blessing because if we are mostly focused on self Satan will fill us with worry and frustration all born out of fear. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. (1 John 4:18)  With our hearts being filled with God’s love, fear naturally fades away from our minds. This is a natural occurrence totally caused by filling our hearts with God’s love.  The more love we have in our hearts, the closer we are to that Lord, the less fear we have.

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)  Our life serves the Lord and he is always with us guiding us to minister to the world and carrying us through life into eternity.  But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)  We put the Lord first in our lives and he puts us first, and he opens doors to our worldly needs. He provides everything we need to make it through life, living life to the full.  He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?(Romans. 8:32)  We give our best to serve the Lord, and the Lord fills our needs.

The Lord has saved us through Christ and forgives our sins when we have Godly sorrow.   We have eternal life in Heaven living with the Father and the Son, and our eternal life begins when we receive the Holy Spirit.

This Christmas week and into the New Year, be filled with the Lord’s blessings; a heart filled with love, peace, and joy.  Know the Lord will give you whatever you need to get through life into your eternal Heavenly home.
