God Takes Care of Us
Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:4
All through the Bible we can see how God takes care of His people, and God will take care of his people in this world today. We can be confident that the Lord will take care of us, if have the faith to serve Christ, have a church family, read the Word, and pray; otherwise, how will we know the Lord. And how can we have faith in someone we don’t know?
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. (John 5:24) We know we are secure in Christ, because we serve Him and we know Him, and Heaven is our eternal home. There is no greater security in this world than having our security in Christ. But we have to be eternally minded, because we never know when we will leave this earthly life.
Our life is in our spirit, its our thoughts, our will, and our emotions, and the body without the spirit is dead. As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. (James 2:26) After our last breath we are alive as spiritual person in paradise, waiting for Christ’s return when get a young perfect body, and Christ takes to Heaven.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. (John 10:28-29) The Father and Son protect us through life and no one can take our eternal life from us. We are the only ones who can walk away from the Lord and destroy our eternal life; but once we experience life serving the Lord, we become closer to the Lord, learn more about the Word, pray more often, and fellowship with our Christian brothers and sisters. We spiritually grow to our breath.
Today continue in serving the Lord, pray, and read the Word. And know Heaven is your home and nothing Satan can do will pull you away from Christ.
Prayer: I depend on you to guide me through life, and give me your strength and courage to endure whatever Satan places in my path. In Jesus name, Amen
