God Loves Everyone

Posted on

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

God loves everyone so much that he redeemed us by sending his Son to take our sins to the cross. We have forgiveness through Christ which separates us from our sins. God loves the person but hates sin, therefore, we must love the person but hate the sinful lies Satan has put in their hearts. Our hate goes toward the sin while we bring the truth to overcome the lies they have chosen to believe.

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) There are many people that easily believe Satan’s lies because they normally appeal to the flesh. Most non-believers see the narrow road as difficult and fear losing control of their lives. This first impression causes them to stop short before finding the full truth, which means there are few who find it.

God loves everyone, and as servants of the Lord, it is our divine calling to reflect the Lord’s love to people. Entering the narrow gate takes patience because the Lord renews our mind and changes our heart starting with works. Works can be done with no knowledge of God and with little or no change in mind and heart.

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. (Hebrews 6:10) We help people onto the narrow road by revealing the Lord’s love to them. We bring them into a loving Church family where they receive God’s unconditional love and learn the ways of God. The church environment is designed by the Lord to be a place of acceptance, encouragement, and love. It is a place where all Christians, young and old, should desire to be as they learn about the Word, prayer, and receiving God’s love.

The walk on the narrow road should be a fulfilling walk from day one till our last breath. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) Walking on the narrow road provide life to the full, starting at day one and becoming more fulfilling as we walk the narrow road. God is love and the longer we walk the narrow road the more we experience God’s love in our hearts.

Today be filled with God’s love and reflect it to others. Know the more love you reflect, the more love you receive. Ministry to others starts with a loving caring heart, followed by God’s truth.

Prayer: Help me to know your love and reflect it to others with a caring heart and to love the person yet hate the sin. In Jesus’ name, Amen
