God Knows the Future

Posted on

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

God is omniscient, which means he is all-knowing. God is fully aware of everything, past, present, and future. His Word tells us what the future holds for us, so we can prepare for the upcoming events. An exact timeline is not given for all events, but he gives us the future so we can recognize the events when they occur.

The “man of sin” is described as one who will be revealed before the Day of the Lord comes. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (2 Thessalonians 2:3–10) The man of lawlessness, also referred to in Revelations as the “beast,” will someday become our world leader, but not before the rebellion occurs. So, what is the rebellion that will prompt people to have a world leader? If the world is in rebellion, and someone has the solution, then the world will support that person as world leader. My thought is the man of lawlessness has the answer, perhaps to a world in super-inflation or a world in famine.

Keep track of what ‘s happening in the world: moving toward a one world leader. The Lord puts these events in his Word so we can know and recognize the future and be prepared. Search carefully for the truth, because Satan’s lies are everywhere.

A description of the future of a one world leader, based on God’s prophecies, is given on the Eternal Walk Ministry website, under the heading “Books.”  The book is titled “The Future – God’s Prophecies,” and the text can be downloaded and printed for free.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. (2 Thessalonians 2:8) We stand with the Lord who has infinite power over all evil. Be eternal minded and live for eternity where life will be on the new earth with no sin or temptations, in the presence of the Father and the Son. We will be younger and live forever with a perfectly satisfying life.

Today life for eternity and seek to compare the events in the world to the Word.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12) We are in a Spiritual war and it’s good to know Satan’s strategies so we can pray and fight this spiritual war with the power of God.

Prayer: Lord help me to recognize the events in the world so I can be prepared to minister to the world, bringing the truth to overcome Satan’s deceptions. In Jesus name, Amen
