God is in Control
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:28
We are spiritual people and our spirit lives forever and never ages, and we will live in Heaven for eternity. Only those who believe in Christ and serve him, will have Heaven as their home. People can believe any of Satan’s lies, but God’s truth will always remain and God is our eternal judge.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. (John 10:28-30) Christians are secure in this world because no one can snatch us out of God’s hands. Satan will use fear to have us walk out of God’s hands but the Lord will give us whatever we need to endure this world to our last breath.
The following is what Jesus told the Pharisees, the prideful religious leaders. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44) And we can say the same to the people in this world today, because they don’t know the Father or the Son. People are either worshipping God, or by default they are worshipping Satan. The only security for eternal life comes from God, who protects our soul form this evil world.
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) If we are governed by our fleshly desires, we will die spiritually for eternity, but if we are guided by the Spirit, we will live eternally in Heaven. This is God’s truth, and the world can believe anything they desire, but God’s truth never changes. The only way we can survive this evil world in the last days is by walking with the Lord, and live in his divine power, because Christ conquered physical death.
Today walk with the Lord and live in victory over this evil world. Know the world cannot touch your spirit, which is your thoughts, personality, and will. So do away with any fear and live with joy.
Prayer: Lord guide me through life into Heaven, and give me your power over Satan. In Jesus name, Amen
