God Cares about You
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
How can we show God’s love to someone without having a caring heart, compassionate heart? God’s love that he puts in our hearts is filled with care and compassion. Pray every day for the Lord to put more of his love in your heart, because the more of his love that is in your heart the closer you are to the Lord. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love (1 John 4:7-8)
Love without action is dead, but love in action shows a caring heart. The more love we reflect to others the more caring we become. We grow more Christ-like as we walk as Jesus did. Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did (1 John 2:6) When we follow the Spirit ministering to lost souls, the Lord continually fills our hearts with his love, because the Lord knows his love and compassion are needed to bring souls to Christ. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. (1 John 13:35) Love shown by a caring heart can soften a hard heart.
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:9-10) The Son died on the cross for our sins, fulfilling the Father’s command. His love and his caring heart are beyond our understanding. This is how much God cares about each of us and how much he desires us to be with him in Heaven. He cares so much, greater than we can imagine, that he sent his Son so that we can have eternal life.
Today, know in your heart that the Lord cares about every detail of your life and he desires to help you through every step of your life. Seek his guidance and his help, because he can do things in our life that we cannot possible do. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
Prayer: Lord, guide me in the Spirit, trusting you with all my heart, knowing your love is filled with care, compassion, and forgiveness. Give me the power to overcome Satan’s temptations and to reflect your love, care, and compassion to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen
