Faithful to the End
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.Hebrews 3:14
All throughout our Christian life, our faith should become stronger as evil increases in the world. The closer we are to the Lord, the more love in our hearts which is the foundation for our faith. No matter what happens in the world, we need to reflect God’s love to everyone.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (Matthew 24:13 ESV) As Satan fills the world with his lies toward the last days, we must be close to Christ for his love and strength to endure to the end. “When the futures unclear, and all that I can do is wait. There is a promise echoing in my heart.” This quote is from the song titled “Faithful to the End,” and it refers to God always being faithful to the end. “That he will be faithful to the end. He will provide time and time again. He will be faithful, So faithful to the end.” From this verse, we can always depend on God’s faithfulness to us giving us whatever we need to endure to the end, as long as we remain faithful to the end.
“And he will be there when all else fades. His love is stronger than my pain. He will be faithful, Faithful to the end.” When things in life seem impossible, God’s love is stronger than the pain of fear. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18) God fills our hearts with his love when we serve the Lord by following the Spirit. With our hearts filled with God’s love, we are connected to God and we have his power to overcome the pain and fear.
“To know how deeply I’m loved. And I’m always reminded, that he will be all I need. All I need.” We are loved by God more than we can imagine, and through Christ we have all we need to be faithful to the end. Always remember the Lord makes his home in our hearts, and if we have faith, he will provide all we need to get through life. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. (Ephesians 3:17 NLT)
Today, live by faith in God and know he is faithful. Serve the Lord by being a light wherever you go, and know the Lord is with you.
Prayer: Lord, guide me in the Spirit to serve Christ and to be faithful to the end. As I minister to the world, fill my heart with your divine, unconditional love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
