Faithful to the End

Posted on

But the one who remains faithful to the end will be saved.

Matthew 24:13

Ask the Lord and he will give you the power to remain faithful to the end, because we don’t know what Satan will do tomorrow. Christians are getting closer to Christ, while Satan is trying to pull us away from Christ using fear. We need the power of God to stand strong for Christ in all circumstances.

The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. (Psalm 145:20) This is a comforting promise from God, he watches over his people. Unfortunately, the wicked will be destroyed because they didn’t accept Christ as their Savior. As Christians we are tell the world about Christ, however in certain parts of the world we will imprisoned or killed for telling them we are Christians. However, we can pray for lost souls, that the Lord will give them dreams that will change them.

The best way to remain faithful to the end is to follow Christ as he leads us to lost souls. As Christians our hearts hurt for lost souls who have been deceived by Satan. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) God loves everyone and wishes all will accept Christ as their Savior, and we love all people and we wish they would accept Christ. With hearts filled God’s love, we are motivated to tell others the truth about salvation in Christ.

Love keeps us faithful because our life is now about God and others. We know we are saved but we are sad for all lost souls. If we live to tell the world about Christ, we will remain faithful to the end. The best life we experience is not centered on self, but centered on God and others, and we know Christ will give us his strength to endure any of Satan’s evil plans.

If we live for our flesh, we will most likely become unfaithful, but if we live for our eternal Spirit, knowing that our life is in our spirit, we will remain strong in faith. The closer we are to Christ the more we want leave this sinful world and go home to be with Christ, which is better by far. The more we know God, his perfect love for us, his infinite power, his infinite wisdom and knowledge, his great desire for us to be in Heaven; the more we desire be with Christ. All of the above will keep us on the narrow road walking the Light with total faith in Christ. It’s our choice to walk on the broad road of destruction or walk on the narrow road to eternal life.

Today remain faithful by telling others about salvation in Christ. Ask the Lord to fill your heart with his love as you minister to others, because love cast out fear.

Prayer: Lord guide me in the Spirit to bring Christ to lost souls, and keep me faithful to my last breath. In Jesus name, Amen
