Crucified with Christ

Posted on

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

We have been crucified with Christ and Christ now lives in us, and he guides us down the narrow road to our eternal home in Heaven. Living for Christ gives us the best life, because Christ is with us every moment of the day.

We now live by faith because we fully trust the Lord’s will, and we are always express our thankfulness to Christ for guiding us through life. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6) If Christ hadn’t died for our sins, we would be lost forever without any hope. We owe everything to Christ because he was crucified to save us, and our sinful body is crucified with Christ.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31) Nobody on the earth loves us more than the Father and the Son, and we love nobody on the earth as much as we love the Father and the Son. Christ obeyed the Father to come to earth to teach us how to live as a servant for Christ, and to die for our sins. No person on this earth is perfect, but fight sin and we have forgiveness.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-24) We live to please the Father and the Son, and we do this by doing everything in life, as doing it for Christ. When we fully depend on Christ for everything, we are blessed, because nobody in all creation can guide us better than Christ.

The blessing from Christ who came to earth to teach us and die for our sins, makes us want to crucify our sinful nature and live for Christ. We have a thankful obedient heart for what Christ did for us. When we live for Christ and crucify our sinful nature, God fills our soul with blessings from Heaven; love, peace, joy, and whatever he knows we need.

Today seek to crucify the sinful nature, and don’t let Satan trigger your emotion for evil. Walk with peace and love today.

Prayer: Lord help me to crucify my sinful nature by following your divine guidance through the Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen
