Created to be Hidden with Christ
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:3
God created us in His image, and it is a blessing for us to hide our life and live for Christ with His divine guidance and wisdom. Satan is always seeking to make us distant from Christ, because Satan knows that if we seek to be closer to Christ, the more fulfilling and joyful will be our life. In heaven we will be with the Father and the Son which makes Heaven, and while we are on the earth, the closer we are to the Father and the Son; it’s like Heaven on earth. And when Christ is our life, we feel close to Christ because we depend on Him for everything.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 220) The more we die to self and live for Christ, the closer we are to Christ, and that is what makes life to the full. We are created to be close to the Father and to Christ, and when we experience this closeness, life is better than we could imagine.
We are created to have eternal life in Heaven, and to be with the Father and the Son. But Satan with his deception and lies, makes people live for their fleshly desires which pulls them away from God. When people find God’s truth and their life is hidden with Christ, they will experience the best life. Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. (Luke 17:33) When we live for Christ, letting Christ guide us through life, we will find the life we are created to live.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34:8) When we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, and receive the Holy Spirit; we will experience the love and blessings from God, and Heaven will be our home. The Holy Spirit lives within us, and Christ is always with us; and whatever we do we reflect Christ.
Satan knows the best life we can live is when our life is hidden with Christ, that is way Satan deceives people to live for their fleshy desires, which distorts their view of walking with Christ.
Today let Christ guide you through the Word, to control your thinking, your words and your actions. Commune with God as you go through the day; then you will live as created, and life will begin to be filled with more peace and joy.
Prayer: Father let my life be hidden with Christ, and guided by Christ. Let my identity and security be found in Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
