Created for Hearts of Love – Part 2

Posted on

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

1 John 4:7

With hearts with God’s love, the commands in the Word become natural with a divine understanding, and a close loving relationship with the Lord. We now understand that every command in the Word has a divine meaning, and we see how all of God’s commands fit together.

With hearts of love, we are motivated to serve the Lord and tell people about salvation through Christ. we always depend on Christ being with us so we can bear much fruit. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) Love makes us closer to the Lord and makes us dependent on the Lord, especially when ministering to people.

Hearts of love drives us to know the Lord more which drives us into the Word, into prayer, into fellowship, and can drive us into meditation. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (Joshua 1:8) Meditation brings us very close to the Lord and the world disappears, and it is a divine time of peace and thankfulness.

The Lord gets bigger and we get smaller, and we strive to be Christ’s servant knowing He is our master. We now trust the Lord in all things because He is our Master and we are His servant. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6) The closer we are to the Lord, the more we stop leaning on our understanding, and we gladly put all our prayers in the Lord’s hands. We pray based on our understanding and pray it’s the Lord’s will, but we trust His will over our will.

Our hearts are complete with God’s love as we continue witnessing to people with a caring heart.  Our hearts desire is to be closer to the Lord so much that we want to be with Father and the Son in Heaven.  If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; (Philippians 1:22-23) This verse comes from Paul’s heart and also comes from our hearts.

Today pray the Lord fills your heart with His love, and guides you in the Spirit to make His love complete. Reflect the Lord’s love to everyone with kindness and patience.

Prayer:  Lord thank you for creating me to have heart of love. Guide me in the Spirit today to reflect your love to everyone. In Jesus name, Amen.
