Christ Knows Our Future
And He said, “I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.
Luke 23:24
Christ knows all things including our future, and what would happen if Peter believed the Lord and ask for Jesus’s power not to deny Jesus three times? That’s why the Lord wants to guide us through each day, so He will prepare us for each event of the day. We don’t know the details of what will happen each day, but the Lord knows, and if we depend on Lord to guide through each event, we will overcome anything life will bring us.
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13) We pray each day for the Lord’s divine power to get through the day, and we pray He prepares us for each encounter of the day. This will keep us communing with the Lord and being prepared each event of the day; driving, ministering, medical procedure, or whatever is happening to us, we commune with the Lord for his guidance for each step of the day. And our is our faith if do not depend on the Lord for each step of our day?
If Christ walked with us through the day, we would ask for His divine guidance, because he knows our future for the day. We depend on the Lord every moment of the day, to help us to reflect Christ to the world, because lives within us. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) What do we depend to get us through each day, and Satan wants us to depend on self, money, or our own wisdom. We depend on Christ for every breath, every thought, every word we speak, and every event of the day, and we do this with a thankful heart.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. (Matthew 19:26) Remember with Christ all things are possible, and depend on the Lord to give us whatever we need for the events of the day, including events we know about and events we do not know about. Many times, we walk into the unknown, but we are never alone because Christ is with us, and we depend on his guidance in every step, even though it could be our last day on earth.
Today walk with Lord and seek his divine guidance and strength for each step. And He will take you through anything Satan places in your path, and you will walk in victory, because Christ is with you.
