Christ Judges the World
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
Revelations 19:13-14
When Christ returns for the final battle with Satan and his people, all of God’s people will be with him. Christ has already harvested the world for his people and brought them into heaven with him. They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers ( Revelations 17:14). This verse further substantiates that armies of heaven are the Chosen faithful followers. After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands (Revelations 7:9). This verse states that all God’s people were wearing white robes, and they are with Christ as he judges the world wearing fine linen, white and clean.
Why are the saints, all of God’s people with him when he returns to overthrow Satan and his followers? The saints take part in the final judgment as legal evidence condemning their persecutors. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord (Romans 12:19). This is the time for the Lord to avenge.
Everything described above is in the future, and maybe in the near future, we don’t know. What are Christians to do as this time approaches? Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved (Matthew 24:12). We are to endure with a heart of love that goes into the world to rescue lost souls for Christ. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The world is looking for answers and God’s people know the answers, because we know God and the Word explains what’s happening in the world. This is a prime time to bring God’s truth to the world to combat the world from believing Satan’s lies.
Today know that heaven is your home and all vengeance belongs to the Lord. Live today with a heart filled with God’s love and seek to point lost souls to freedom in Christ. Pray for his wisdom, courage, and strength to endure whatever Satan puts in your life, because we have the power of God to overcome the world. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4). We will live with victory in Christ while on this earth, and live in heaven forever with our Lord.
Prayer: Give me the courage and strength to endure to the finish, to remain faithful in your love. Draw me forever closer to you, so I can always reflect your power, strength, and love. Help me to overcome the world, to overcome Satan and his demons and to fight sin with all the power of Christ. Help me to always reflect your Light until I enter your kingdom and live in your divine Light. In Jesus name, Amen
