Christ is With Us

Posted on

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:20

Christ is always with us through the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit intercedes for us to Christ. If we can remember that Christ is always with us, we would improve in capturing every thought to obedience of Christ, because Christ knows our every thought.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) Since Christ is always with us, we can overcome fear because he gives us strength to overcome anything Satan puts in our path. Our faith is in Christ because he in can do all things to protect our soul for eternity.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7) We love everyone on the planet including our enemies, because they have been deceived by Satan. The more love we have in our hearts the more we know God and the closer relationship we have with Him. The closer we are to the Lord the more we hate this sinful world, and the more we are ready to leave this world to be with the Father and the Son.

I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. (Philippians 1:23-24) The apostle Paul preferred to be with Christ but the Lord had more work for him. It’s the same for us, we may prefer to home to be the Lord, but we need to remain as long as possible to bring people to Christ, because that is the purpose of our earthly life. And we can only do this because Christ is with us. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

With Christ with us, and knowledge of the word; we can be a light on a hill. We need to be a light for God’s love in this sinful world, because Satan is turning the world against Christians. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) If we truly believe this verse, we will have the courage to stand for Christ in all circumstances, because our life is our spirit not in the flesh.

Today realize Christ is with you and is willing to guide you with his wisdom and with his love.  Tell yourself throughout the day, “Christ is with me,” and walk in his power.

Prayer:  I pray that I will always know Christ is with me, and his perfect love we carry me through life doing his good, pleasing, and perfect will. In Jesus name, Amen
