Christ is the Answer to Everything
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
Christ is with his people every second of everyday and there is nothing he can’t guide us through in this life. He protects us from the evil one, guides us to overcome the world, gives us his power to overcome Satan, fills our heart with love, peace, and joy, gives us control over Satan’s fear, gives us his power and guidance to minister to the world, hears and answers our prayers, and he will come back and take to us our Heavenly home. Christ is the answer to everything, we call on Christ and he has the perfect answer.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25) We follow the Spirit by calling on the Lord in every situation and he guides us. The more we know the Word, which is the language of God, the more our conscience will be sensitive to the Spirit. Meditate on the fact that the creator of the universe loves you perfectly, is willing to carry you through every detail of life, and has our Heavenly home waiting for you.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. (Colossians 3:2) The more we take our thoughts to the Lord, the more his love and security feeds our heart. When we set our minds on things above, the things of the earth become less important except pointing lost souls to Christ. Our physical life becomes secondary and our heavenly life becomes primary. I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me. (Philippians 1:23-26) We also desire, in part, to be with Christ but the Lord hasn’t finished his plans for us which is to reveal Christ to lost souls.
Today seek the Lord and know he is the answer to everything. He will help you in ministering to others, help you through life, and fill you with love, peace, and joy. You can always depend on the Lord because he loves you more than you can imagine.
Prayer: Lord, I put my total trust in you for everything. You are the Almighty Holy, Holy, Holy, God and I will show my love for you by reflecting your love to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen
