Christ in Us
I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
Galatians 2:20
Christ lives is us through the Holy Spirit, and what more we could we ask for? We have the power of Christ in us to overcome Satan and the sinful world. We just have to be with Christ in our thoughts throughout the day, and have a heart that depends on Christ for everything.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20) If we live this verse, we will have immeasurably more of the Lord’s power than we can imagine. We have faith that depends on the Lord for his divine power to overcome Satan’s temptations, and to be a light for Christ in this world.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57) The Lord gives us his power and guides us into victory over Satan and his evil in this world. If we are with the Lord throughout our day, and we ask for his help and guidance, then we will experience a life of victory.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) Christians do not fear physical death because life is in our soul which lives forever with the Father and the Son in Heaven. We live each day in victory, guided by Christ, who gives us the thoughts and words to bring people to Christ.
Today realize that Christ lives in us, and he gives us his divine power every day of our life. We don’t live in fear because Christ is with us and Heaven is our home.
Prayer: Father, enable me to be with Christ every moment of the day, to overcome Satan’s evil, and be a light for Christ. In Jesus name, Amen
