Live as Created

God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

We are created in the image of God, and if we live according to how God created us, we will experience life to the fullest.

The Bible tells us how to live the way we are created knowing we live forever. He has also set eternity in their heart, (Ecclesiastes 3:11). We are spiritual beings and our soul lives forever.

When equipment is operated according to its design, it will work satisfactorily; but if we operate equipment not according to its design, it will not operate correctly.

Imagine flying on an airplane where the pilot is not flying the plane according to how it was designed to operate. If we don’t live the way God designed us, we will never operate life to the fullest. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) God created us and He is the only one that gives us life to the fullest through Jesus Christ.

No matter how comfortable you are in this temporary world, it will never compare to the full life from God.

When we walk according to the ways of the world, we are actually being guided by Satan. Some walk strongly in the ways of Satan, but there are many good people that have never accepted Christ. Anyone that does not accept Christ is living under Satan, because these are the only two choices.

We have this present life to make the correct choice, and our eternity depends on it.

Challenge to Live as Created

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) While in this world, Satan tempts us to be governed by our fleshly desires, while we are created to be governed by the Spirit.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (Romans 8:14) The Holy Spirit lives in the believer and Christ guides us through life, molding us to the life we are created to live. We are created to live with our own personality and with the mind and heart of Jesus.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (1 Peter 5:8-9)

Every Christian is fighting a spiritual battle, through the power of Christ, to keep Satan from getting a foothold through his lies and deception. The power of a Christ-centered church is accountability from a close brother or sister to help prevent Satan from getting a foothold in our life.

We are all self-biased and we all need someone to hold us accountable.

Blessing of Living as Created

As we become more like Jesus, we experience life to the fullest, a life that far exceeds what we can obtain from the world.

The blessings from Heaven are eternal, which means they feed our soul forever, while the things from the world feed our flesh and they are temporary. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3) The blessings of God reside in the Spirit that live in us, and Spirit feeds our soul continuously as we keep our thoughts toward Christ.

The more our thoughts are on things above, the stronger the blessings of God fill our soul.

Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) Living as we are created, we overcome Satan and his evil ways in the world. We are given power over Satan and his demons through the power of God that lives in us. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

Conclusion

Always remember you are a spiritual person that lives forever; your eternal soul is your personality, your thoughts, your will, and your emotions.

I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. (John 10:28-29) The Lord protects us from the evil one and no one can separate us from our eternal life in Heaven, if we do our best to live as created as given to us the Bible, in the image of God
