Born of God

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. (1 John 1:13)

When we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior and receive the Holy Spirit, then we are born of God. The Spirit of God lives in us and the Father and the Son make their home with us. We are no longer living alone; when we are born of God, God lives in us. We are born into this world not by our choice, and we can be born into God’s world by our choice. This article reveals what Christ does for us when we are born of God. Being born of God is something we need to think about deeply.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

Every person born is blessed because they are created in the image of God. When we choose to be born of God, we start living in the image of God. And when we live according to how God created us, we live life to the fullest. Everything in life works better when it is operated as designed, and that includes all people who are designed by God. If we operate according to the Word of God, we will live the best possible life.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)

Living as created, we will live life to the fullest, which implies that nothing is missing and Heaven is our home. If we live the way of the world, we will live according to how Satan programs our minds or places a demon in us. For those who live the opposite of how God created them, Heaven is no longer their home and their eternity is with Satan. Satan’s goal is to hurt God by taking people away from God by deceiving them. And it is so easy to deceive people because they choose to live for their fleshly desires instead of being born of God.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Only a few people find the narrow road to Heaven because Satan paints a deceiving image of walking with God in their minds. That keeps them away from seeking the Truth found in God’s Word. Satan’s deceptions keep people living for the fleshly desires, and he feeds them lies about their eternal life.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2)

When we are born of God, we move into the spiritual world and we develop a close relationship with Christ. We are spiritual people because our spirit is our life; it’s our thoughts, personality, and will. Our spirit and the Holy Spirit can become one, and through the Spirit we can live in the spiritual world. In order to live in the spiritual world, our thoughts must be geared toward the spiritual.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13)

The Spirit is our interface to Christ who is willing to guide us through life with his divine love, wisdom, and power. Born of God means that God not only lives in us, but He guides us through life. People born of God live in the Lord’s love because their hearts are filled with God’s divine love, with hearts that hurt for lost souls.

Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (John 10:10)

Christ is with us and guides us with his wisdom and power working in us. We overcome the world, which means we are controlled by the Spirit and not by the sinful things of the world. We are controlled by the wisdom of God and not by this sinful world. The closer we are to Christ, the stronger our faith becomes and the more we depend on the Lord.

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)

Satan is the ruler of the air, and he is under the control of God. Life is a test for all Christians, those born of God, to see if we are going to live for Christ with his love and power, while many will lose their faith because of fear from Satan.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)

Since we have overcome the world, we are now free in Christ. There is always freedom when we are born of God and our spirit lives in the spiritual world with our dependence on Christ. We are free and we minister to the world from the Kingdom within us.

Jesus answered, “God’s kingdom is coming, but not in a way that you will be able to see with your eyes. People will not say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ because God’s kingdom is within you.” (Luke 17:20-21)

When we become one with Christ, we are living in the spiritual world, which means we are living in the Kingdom of God which is within us. And, living in the Kingdom, we experience the continuous blessings of God that feed our soul. We must remember that we are born of God, we are spiritual people, and we can live in the Kingdom.

If you belonged to the World, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. (John 15:19)

We are not of this world because we are living in God’s world, but we minister to the world from the kingdom of God within us. When born of God, we have a divine purpose for living this life: To be a light on a hill, bringing Christ to the world.

And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (Mark 13:13)

As the world increases in evil, all those born of God become more loving and we fight Satan’s hate with God’s love in our hearts.

What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14)

This life is short and temporary, while our eternal life lasts forever. Tell the world to be born of God and live life to the fullest and to focus on their eternal life, because where we spend our eternal life is our choice.
