Blessings from Heaven
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Ephesians 3:1
Blessings from Heaven feed our soul, and they get stronger the closer we are to Christ. The blessing from Heaven will last forever which means they never go away but get stronger the longer we walk with Christ. Things from the world are only temporary and satisfy the flesh, and if our soul is not content, the flesh will never have divine contentment.
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:12-13) The apostle Paul lived a very difficult life, but he was content because God filled his soul with contentment, and the world never took it away. The Lord is not a respecter of persons but gives contentment to all who serve Christ and point people to eternal life.
Blessing from God are more powerful than anything from the world, because the blessings are divine and we are created to live with them, so we can walk in love, peace, and joy. There is no comparison between earthly blessings and the divine blessing from God. When we have these divine blessings, we are content in this world and the Lord gives us what we need to live this short earthly life, and that is more than sufficient for us.
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:20) With our soul filled with Heavenly blessings, we know this world is no longer our home, and our desire is to be with the Father and the Son. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3) We now have a great desire to be with the Father and the Son, because being with the Father and the Son is what makes Heaven. This world no longer feels like home, because Heaven is our home.
Today pray for blessings from Heaven and live to serve Christ who is always with you. Live today with peace, joy, and kindness.
Prayer: Lord, help me to serve Christ and aways show kindness to everyone, and thank you for the blessings from Heaven. In Jesus name, Amen
