Be Humble and Pray
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
During this virus, take time to pray for your enemies and that many souls will turn to Christ. If the Lord heard many prayers from his people for the souls that believe Satan’s lies and turn from their evil ways, and if the churches spread God’s truth in their community, imagine how many souls would turn to truth?
Now the end is coming for you. I will send my anger against you. I will judge you for the way you have lived, and I will punish you for all the detestable things that you have done. (Ezekiel 7:3) This is what God said through the prophet Isaiah when the Israelites did evil, worshiping idols and sacrificing their children in their idol worship. God is patient but eventually God’s wrath allowed the Israelites to be overtaken by a foreign country and become slaves. As we approach end times, we will see God’s wrath for the purpose of punishing those haven’t accepted Christ hoping they will now accept Christ, purifying Christians, and waking up complacent Christians.
We are in a spiritual war which means prayer is extremely powerful. Pray for evil people to change and for God to intervene and heal our land. Pray this prayer multiple times per week. Establish a prayer team via telephone using video, such as FaceTime or Zoom. The more Christians pray for lost souls and for the Lord’s intervention and his guidance, the more he sees our love for lost souls. We see many countries under Satan’s control to destroy Christians, and Satan’s goal is to control the whole world. But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. (Luke 6:27-28)
Today, pray and if possible minister to lost souls. Pray because it shows our faith and our dependence on the Lord. There is no one that can help us and others as our Lord can because he is sovereign over everything. All things are possible for God, but it depends on prayer, love for lost souls, motivation to bring Christ to lost souls, and faith.
Prayer: Lord, guide me in prayer and in ministry for lost souls. Even in lockdown from this virus, open a door for ministering to lost souls. In Jesus’ name, Amen
