All Things for Good

Posted on

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

There is nothing that happens in our life that God will not make good, especially if we are ministering to people. This promise from God is available for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.  If you love me, keep my commands (1 John 14:15).  If we love the Lord, we will to our best to keep his commands.

Read Romans 8:28 many times so it will come part of your life and live knowing God can make all things good for us, especially when we are going through difficult times. This is a promise that reveals God’s love for us, and He can make all things good, and we will be closer to the Lord with more faith.  The more faith we have for the Lord, the more we be willing to serve Christ, being a Light in this world. And being a light for Christ we will have more love in our hearts, along with peace, and joy. When we serve the Lord, we are blessed because we are closer to the Lord.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).  This is a powerful verse, and if our faith trusts the Lord more than our own understanding, we have more divine peace.  If will live for the Lord’s purpose, he will make our paths straight down the narrow road to Heaven, with no detours form Satan.

When we fully trust this verse Proverbs 3:5-6, our faith will be pleasing to God, and He will increase our spiritual blessings of peace, faith, comfort, and joy, because we know Heaven is our home.

Today, remember Romans 8:28, because it will increase your faith by learning that God is faithful to all of his promises. If there was anything in your life that the Lord couldn’t get you through, then he wouldn’t ask you to have faith. Live today knowing that whatever happens God will use it for your good.  Remember to reflect his love, because it demonstrates not only your love for the Lord, but that you are called according to his purpose.

Prayer:  Lord, open my heart to fully live by your promises.  Fill my heart with your love and help me to reflect your love through kindness, patience, forgiveness, and compassion.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
