All Things are Possible for God
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
It is important that we truly know God and not view his love, power, and strength through our own limitations. God has infinite power, infinite understanding, and perfect everlasting love. If we fully trust his divine ways, we can live in his power with his love and understanding guiding us through life to overcome the world. The purpose of this message is for us to realize and live in the power we have in the Lord through our faith. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20)
It is imperative that we know the Lord and see him as all powerful and loving. If we see God in his majesty, we can live in his power to overcome the world. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13) We have the power of the Lord living in us through the Spirit, and since all things are possible for the Lord we can do all things through him. Recognize the power he has given us, and have the faith to live in that power. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 2:7)
When we go through life with its trials and tribulations, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and fearful because we initially see things from our limited capabilities. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5) We initially lean on our own understanding, but if we are fully trusting the Lord we can depend on him with all our heart because he is faithful in his promises.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6) With faith, we are pleasing to God and he will guide us through anything in life. All things are possible for God which means there is nothing in life that the Lord cannot give us his power, wisdom, and courage to overcome — if we have the faith.
Today know that all things are possible for God, and that he will carry you through anything you encounter today. Live victoriously in Christ today, with a heart of love, peace, and joy.
Prayer: Lord, help me to see you in all your glory and to trust you completely. Guide me to be a light for Christ with my heart filled with your love, confidence, and wisdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen
