All Things are Possible for God

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

This verse is very important to remember, especially when we pray. We should never pray based on our limitations, but we pray knowing God has no limitations. What we consider as miracles are God’s way of answering our prayers. We should never limit God’s power in our prayers.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:7-8) We worship a God who loves us more than we can imagine, and a God whose has no limitations. He knows each of us better than we know ourselves. Therefore, he guides us and disciplines us giving us exactly what we need to be more like Jesus.

He fills us with the Holy Spirit and Christ lives in our hearts. He guides us through life to be a light in this world, and no one can snatch us out of his hands. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. (John 10:28) We are secure in God’s hands.  There is nothing in this world that we cannot endure and overcome because he gives us his power.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20) We need to know God and the power he can work in us, and never limit what we can do with his power. We seek to obey every command because we know he is with us, guiding us with his love and power.  We overcome fear because we live with the Lord’s love, strength, courage, and power. Never serve the Lord in your power and courage because Satan will attack with fear.  Always serve the Lord in his power.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8) Develop the attitude in your heart that you can do all things because all things are possible for God. This always holds true when we are following the Spirit to be a light in the world.  Just as every plan Satan had to stop the apostle Paul God used for victory, Christ will do the same for us

Today, be a light for Christ, know the Lord is with you, and he will work his power in you. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. (Deuteronomy 20:4) Victory is always doing what the Lord guides us to do through the Spirit, and it’s not always victory in the world. We don’t change the world; God changes the world.  We are called to be light in the world bringing God’s truth to everyone. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (Ephesians 6:10)

Prayer:  Lord, thank you for always being with me, working your power in me. Help me to always remember that I worship a God who loves me more than I can imagine, and a God where all things are possible.  In Jesus name, Amen
